Recently, the Zhejiang Regional Finals for the Telecommunications and Information Technology sector of the 8th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition officially kicked off in Shaoxing, with the 30 companies that had advanced to the finals taking to the stage to compete. Zhejiang Xinli Microelectronics Co., Ltd., selected by our county, was the only company from Jiaxing to reach the finals in the Electronics and Information Technology sector, and ultimately won the Excellence Award in the Start-up Category.
Zhejiang Xinli Microelectronics Co., Ltd., funded by Shanghai Sijie Microelectronics Co., Ltd., was founded in November 2018 by Dr Lu Yumin and his team at the County Science and Technology Innovation Centre. The company specialises in the mass production and testing of millimetre-wave radar modules, developing solutions for intelligent driving, smart homes, vehicle-to-everything (V2X) and industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Leveraging the application-level chip R&D platform at the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the company has developed China’s first integrated radar chip combining transmission and reception functions. It will commence industrial-scale production of modular radar products in Jiashan and will further expand into application markets such as smart IoT and smart home sectors.
